community-driven content, live games, and shared storytelling, we aim to make the Cypher System more accessible, more alive, and
more unforgettable than ever before.

Humble Beginnings
Cypher Unlimited began in 2017, founded by two gamers who simply wanted something different—an RPG community rooted in creativity, not conflict. Tired of edition wars and endless arguments, they envisioned a space focused on storytelling, inclusion, and passion for the game.
The CU Boys
The Cypher Unlimited team brings a dynamic mix of styles, voices, and perspectives to the table, just like the community we serve.
We're GMs, players, and designers,
each with a distinct approach to TTRPGs:
- Spiggs18 is a master of improv, able to spin entire sessions from bar napkins and pure instinct. Spiggs loves to sit at a table with friends, old and new alike, to tell collaborative, off-the-cuff stories!
- Ancient Albatross draws inspiration from his favorite shows and video games; re-imagining those worlds within Cypher System with rules changes and additions that make players feel like they are really playing in those worlds!
- AlphaDean, master of cinematic storytelling! Inspired by his years of movie watching, reviewing and analysis, he is able to keep a story moving in the most exciting ways!
